Eric J. Garcia was born and raised in Albuquerque’s South Valley. One of the few Chicano political cartoonists, Eric has a unique perspective that offers new ways of visually and intellectually examining world affairs. "The power of the imagery is a tremendous vehicle for telling stories. I consider my art a historically based, politically charged criticism, with the goal of creating dialogue about contemporary issues.”
